Cristiano Ronaldo interested in move to Miami MLS team

Could Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo be headed to MLS to join up with David Beckham? According to The SunRonaldo is prearing a move to the US, aiming to join the still-in-planning MLS franchise in Miami which Beckham is heading.
The report says Ronaldo enjoys Miami, having spent Christmas there. He also attended aMiami Heat game during the break.
According to the report, Portuguese paper Correio de Manha said that a source close to Ronaldo said he wants to live in Miami in the future and that it is his favorite city.
In early December, Beckham's group finally found a stadium site as they inch closer to becoming an established franchise.
Ronaldo could be the first piece. The team is expected to join the league for the 2017 or 2018 season if things continue in the right direction. Ronaldo joining would be an unbelievable boost to the club and MLS.
His contract is up at the end of the 2020 season, so it's tough to imagine him making a move to MLS before that, as it would require a sizeable transfer fee, something that MLS clubs likely wouldn't be able to afford. Ronaldo's market value at the moment is likely over $100 million.
